After-school football, built for primary schoolsOne passionate, experienced coach. One hour after the school day. Every child on the ball. Tiki Football brings high-touch, joyful after-school football straight to your school grounds.
Are you a parent or work for a school?
The same philosophy in every session, for every year group. Genuine development through fun.
Sessions are built around small-sided, high-repetition work, so queues stay short and every child is back on the ball within seconds rather than standing around waiting.
We break football's most effective skill sets into simple, repeatable movements, so children of every ability level can play with confidence and grow session after session.
Football is a game of expression. We create a safe, high-energy environment where mistakes are welcomed as part of learning. Kids leave smiling and asking when the next session is.
Tiki Football doesn’t just develop better footballers. We use football to develop confident, resilient, disciplined and collaborative young people.
Confidence is central to success in football and in life. Through practice and repetition, children see tangible evidence that effort leads to improvement, building self-belief that carries beyond the pitch.
Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities. Losing the ball, missing a shot or struggling with a new technique become chances to persist, adapt and grow.
Improvement comes from consistency. We encourage children to listen to feedback, repeat their skills and give their best effort even when something is difficult.
Football is a team game. We teach children to communicate, support teammates and contribute to a shared goal, building cooperation and respect that lasts off the pitch.
Tell us your school, the year groups you'd like involved, and a preferred day. We'll talk through what works for your timetable.
I arrive on-site after the school day finishes. You provide a playground or field, and we handle the rest.
Enrolled students get a high-touch, high-energy hour of football with technical drills, small-sided games, and pure fun.
Tiki Football partners with Out of School Hours Care providers to bring structured, high energy football sessions into your program. Whether it fills a morning slot or caps off the afternoon, we give the children in your care a meaningful, active experience they look forward to.
Book us as a one off incursion or a recurring weekly slot. We fit around your existing roster and ratios.
We bring everything needed, balls, bibs and cones. All you provide is a safe open space.
Sessions are designed for mixed ages and abilities, so no child is left standing on the sideline.
When school is out, Tiki Football runs holiday sessions packed with skills, small sided games and plenty of fun. We come to your space, and sessions run for one to two hours depending on what suits your school, so you choose the length that works for your community.
Each session blends technical drills, mini matches and playful challenges, so every child is on the ball constantly and learning without realising it.
Sessions are open to all primary school aged children, grouped so the youngest beginners and the confident players all get the right challenge.
Every session is led by Max, Foundation of Football accredited and experienced managing groups of up to 70 children.
Choose a one or two hour session to fit your day. Just bring runners, a drink bottle and a smile.
Tap the ball as many times as you can before the clock runs out. Every touch counts, just like in a Tiki Football session.
Hit start, then tap the ball as fast as you can
Tiki Football is led by Max, a passionate, young and experienced coach who lives and breathes the game. The philosophy is clear and always growing: maximum exposure to the football, session after session, with technique taught in small, repeatable steps. The more touches a child gets, the faster their technical ability develops, and the more they enjoy the game. Above all, I want every child to fall in love with football and keep coming back because they cannot wait to play.
I hold my Foundation of Football accreditation, the entry level coaching qualification from Football Australia, so every session is built on recognised coaching principles, not just enthusiasm.
Football has always been my life. I fell in love with the sport in 2014 watching the World Cup with my family and since then I haven’t gone a day without thinking about football. That love was fostered through a 10 year junior career at Preston Lions FC, which culminated in transitioning to senior football for Darebin United at the age of 18.
Coaching was always an interesting prospect, but I never made steps to pursue it until a shoulder injury required surgery and ruled me out of playing for a lengthy period. It was then that I finally took the step into coaching, beginning at Football Star Academy as a way to stay connected to the game. From that point on, I found another layer to my love of football through the coaching side.
Throughout 2026 I began coaching a MiniRoos team at Preston Lions as well as taking part in coaching a Saturday program elsewhere. My coaching journey extends beyond football too. I have led school holiday programs, coaching a multitude of sports and activities with groups of up to 70 children.
I created Tiki Football Academy because I want to share and express my love of football with young and upcoming footballers. I wanted to run a program that utilised my values, both in developing footballers and in developing confident, resilient, disciplined and collaborative young people.
Tiki Football runs through your child's school. If we already work with your school, ask them about the after-school club, or register your interest and we'll point you to the nearest session.
